Creativity Conversation

In memory of Dr. Pellom McDaniels III, The Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library at Emory University hosts a virtual discussion of Dr. McDaniels’ life and work as part of the Rosemary Magee Creativity Conversation series and in partnership with the festival. The event will begin with an overview of Dr. McDaniels’ life and work as the curator of African American collections at the Rose, followed by a video remembrance that lyrically touches on his many talents and gifts, and then a discussion of his legacy and impact on multiple communities with current and former members of the Emory community who worked closely with Dr. McDaniels and were deeply informed by his vision and generosity. Jennifer Gunter King, Director of the Rose Library will moderate.
